Maguire Showcased Full Portfolio of Innovation at K 2025: Next-Generation Drying, Blending, Feeding, and Connectivity Took Center Stage

Maguire Products, Inc., a global leader in materials-handling technology for plastics processing, presented its most comprehensive display ever at K 2025 in Hall 10, Stand C41, unveiling advancements across its four core product groups: Drying, Blending, Feeding, and Connectivity.

From the debut of the 4th-Generation ULTRA Vacuum Dryers and the new WSB 280MP Gravimetric Blender, to the Fusion integrated control platform and Tracker connectivity suite, Maguire demonstrates how processors can simplify operation, boost efficiency, and achieve measurable sustainability gains across their entire production environment.

“K 2025 represents the next chapter in Maguire’s ongoing mission to make plastics processing simpler, smarter, and more sustainable,” said Frank Kavanagh, Global Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “Each innovation here delivers measurable savings, increased uptime, and advanced process control—empowering our customers to improve their performance and ROI.”

ULTRA Drying Zone — 4th Generation Launch

Building on 25 years of vacuum-drying expertise, the Gen 4 ULTRA Vacuum Dryer introduces a streamlined touchscreen interface and expanded portfolio ranging from four to seven models. New variants —the ULTRA 150E, 300E, and 300+ — extend throughputs to 165, 285, and 440 lb/hr (75–200 kg/h), filling critical capacity gaps for PET and extrusion applications.

All ULTRA models feature Maguire’s exclusive 15-minute “Pit Stop” material changeover capability, slashing downtime from hours to minutes and delivering average energy savings of 60 percent versus desiccant dryers. Live at the show, visitors can calculate their own savings using the interactive ULTRA Savings Calculator (ultra.maguire.com).

Masters of Blending Zone — Build Your Own Blender

With more than 70,000 blenders installed worldwide, Maguire underscores its blending leadership through a hands-on “Build Your Own Blender” Zone. This interactive area invites visitors to view blender options — including pivot valves, oversized weigh bins, wood flour feeders, and more — to meet their exact production needs.

Maguire is also showcasing the new WSB 280MP, their first gravimetric blender, featuring eight fully removable hoppers that offer rapid changeovers, easier cleaning, and unmatched dosing flexibility. The 280MP delivers Maguire’s hallmark 0.1 of 1% setpoint accuracy, rugged construction, and is backed by the company’s five-year warranty.

“Processors today need modular solutions that keep up with production demands and diverse materials,” added Kavanagh. “From the 280MP to our Build Your Own Blender concept, Maguire gives them the freedom to blend their way – and master their blending process.”

Fusion Zone — Unified Control in Action

At the core of Maguire’s integration strategy is Fusion, an advanced control platform that unites blenders, feeders, conveying, and—when required—extrusion control within a single, intuitive touchscreen interface.

For the first time, Fusion is showcased with live conveying and extrusion control, demonstrating how a single controller streamlines operations and reduces scrap. The system features a WSB 140 MP blender, MGF+2 feeders, FlexBus Lite conveying controls, Clear-Vu receivers, and real-time extrusion stabilization, delivering an actual “one-touch, total-control” experience for processors seeking greater automation, material traceability, and equipment performance data through Maguire’s Tracker integration.

Feeding & Connectivity — Smarter Decisions, Stronger Results

Maguire’s expanded MGF+ feeder family provides precision feeding for every process—from entry-level volumetric models to advanced, instant self-calibrating, multi-station gravimetric MGF+ feeders for molding and extrusion systems. The expansive feeder display at K 25 features Maguire’s most comprehensive feeder lineup to date—delivering precision and flexibility for every application.

FlexBus Conveying Control

FlexBus will power the live Fusion demo, while also showing the latest features in conveying setup and monitoring, including new conveying speed control, which is making its debut at K’25. FlexBus will also be integrated with Tracker for enhanced real-time visualization and configuration.

Tracker — Data-Driven Control Across Every Process

Tracker, Maguire's web-based monitoring and control portal, will be demonstrated live on the Maguire stand, featuring remote monitoring and control across Maguire dryers, blenders, feeders, and conveying systems. Tracker provides real-time visibility into material usage and equipment performance, enabling processors to access the data they need to reduce waste, increase productivity, and improve sustainability. Full integration with FlexBus conveying control extends this visibility plant-wide, supporting faster setup, enhanced diagnostics, and seamless connectivity between equipment and operators.

Maintain, Overhaul, Upgrade — Maguire Systems Built to Last

Reaffirming its commitment to long-term value, Maguire is highlighting upgrade paths spanning three decades of their control systems.

The company’s policy of free-for-life software upgrades keeps equipment current without added cost, backed by an industry-leading five-year warranty and a global service network.

Reliability and sustainability remain central to Maguire’s philosophy. With nearly 70,000 gravimetric batch blenders in service worldwide, Maguire ensures processors can maintain, overhaul, or upgrade systems across generations—preserving performance, value, and ROI far beyond the initial investment.
